4 baby onions
1/2 kg turnips, cleaned and sliced
1 kg sliced potatoes
1/2 cup(s) ouzo
1 duck
1 tablespoon(s) ground oregano
pepper

Let the duck to defrost. If it is fresh, pluck and singe the feathers and remove the innards except for the liver. Wash it well and season it with salt and pepper both inside and outside.

Pour the ouzo over the duck and put half of the oregano inside and outside the duck. Place the duck in a flame-resistant covered dish, pour, add 1/2 cup of water and cook for 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 200C.

Add the potatoes, the turnips, the onions, the olive oil, the remaining ouzo and oregano, salt and pepper. Add another 1 1/2 cup of water and let it in the oven for 45 more minutes.
