Clean the mullets, wash them and allow them to dry. Sauté the onion and the garlic in a small pot with some oil. Add the tomatoes, the peppers, the oregano, salt and pepper.
Simmer the sauce for approximately 1/2 hour. Fry the mullets (one option is to cover them in flour and then fry). Place the frying fish in a shallow baking tray and cover them with the sauce. Leave them in a preheated oven at 190C for 10 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
