2 cup(s) milk
4 tablespoon(s) butter
6 tablespoon(s) flour
1 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
2 eggs

Melt the butter, add flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir until well blended. Remove from heat and add the milk and return to heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.

When the sauce is ready, remove from heat and gradually add 2 eggs, stirring constantly.

NOTES: Try it over baked vegetables!
