Gorgonzola funs will love this! You can omit the pasta and just serve the burgers on hamburger buns and pour over the sauce.
1 1/2 kg lean ground beef
For the marinade:
1/2 cup(s) fresh chives, chopped
110 g Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
1/3 teaspoon(s) hot pepper sauce
2 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon(s) dry mustard
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
for the sauce:
1 cup(s) white wine
1 1/3 cup(s) dairy cream
2 tablespoon(s) parmezan cheese, grated
130 g Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with all the marinade ingredients (Gorgonzola cheese, chives, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, mustard and salt). Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
In the meantime prepare the sauce.
In a medium saucepan, boil the white wine over high heat, add cream, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add Parmesan and Gorgonzola cheese. Turn off the heat and stir until the sauce is creamy. Cover with the lid.
Preheat the grill. Form the burger mixture into 11-13 patties.
Oil the grill grate and grill patties 5-8 minutes per side, or until well done.
Pour the sauce over the burgers and serve with penne or other tubular pasta.
