Mix together ground lamb and beef.
Put the stale bread in a large bowl filled with water and let it soak until very soft. Remove and discard the crust. Rinse the bread and add it to the meat. Add the onions, parsley, oregano, eggs, salt and pepper and knead very well with your hands until all the ingredients are well mixed. Refrigerate for 1-2 hour.
Heat 2 cups of olive oil in a large skillet. Shape the mixture into meatballs (the size of a walnut), roll them in flour and fry until brown on all sides.
