black pepper, freshly ground
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
3/4 teaspoon(s) dry mustard
1 egg yolk
1 dash(es) cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
1 cup(s) olive oil

Combine egg yolk, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of the oil in a food processor.

Turn the machine on and slowly add the remaining oil in a thin stream.

Serve immediately or refrigerate in a covered jar or container. Consume within 3 days.
