Main Ingredients: garlic, tomato, basil

Tomato sauce An all time Classic

salt
3 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoon(s) bay leaves
1/2 cup(s) olive oil
1 big onion, chopped
500 g tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tablespoon(s) basil
pepper

Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion.
Add the garlic, the tomatoes, basil, bay leaves and season with salt and pepper. let them simmer for 30 minutes in a medium heat, or until the sauce thickens.

Serve with pasta.
