Kokkinisto. A simple recipe for the beginners in cooking.
150 g butter
1 kg beef
500 g tomato juice
salt, pepper
Chop the beef into pieces. In a medium sized saucepan add in the butter and melt until it becomes hot. Add in the beef and cook coating the beef in the butter until the meat has become sealed, add salt and pepper.
Prepare the tomatoes by grating them into a bowl, then add to the meat. Stir them well and add 300g of warm water. Let it simmer on a low heat for about 2 hours until the sauce has reduced and has become nice and thick.
